Reviews from triggerstreet.com

Absolutely Chilling... By the time you're five pages in, you're sucked into the story. The characters are incredible. I recommend Lavender to any Thriller genre fans. I loved the protagonists and despised the antagonist. The end scene is remarkable. This is a must-read.

Excellent example of storytelling through the craft of writing screenplay. The tension and authority is so immediately established that I roared through these 108 pages completely unaware that I was reading, not watching a movie. Absolutely, I recommend this to all of Triggerstreet, regardless of genre interest, just to take a look at how this writer handles dream and time sequence. Very, very cool... I will go back a second time and READ why this screenplay works so well. Thank you!

Great, the opening... immediately grabbed my attention and made me want to read more... The dialog seemed realistic, flowed naturally, and advanced the plot.

...excellent. The almost seamless flip-flop between past and present was very fun to read and, I imagine, to watch.

THE GARDEN (Drama) - synopsis
Inspired by a true story

From the safe sanctuary of her garden, with the cool winds of Lake Ontario to Comfort, Mildred reflects upon a life of torrid love, scorching loss, and searing violence. 2000 miles away, Mildred's youngest, Peter is being accused of the murder of his girlfriend and his own brother doesn't know what side to take.

"This is a stunning script [...] written from the heart.

It is full of love and longing […] a tear-jerker, and an examination of family strife. I was in puddles of tears myself as I saw with great anticipation how the story was about to end. I WANTED IT TO END THAT WAY! This is a love story writ large.

Get a handle on this one. What great roles there are for actors. What great scenes and x-cuts of settings and eras. This has a wide, wide appeal-a chick flick with BALLS." -Victor Sutton, Actor (Creeps, War Brides)
