Liam O’Donnell was born in Northern Ireland and grew up in Canada. He is an award-winning author and educator. Liam is the creative force behind about 40 graphic novels and books specifically for reluctant readers, including: Max Finder Mystery, Graphic Guide Adventures, Geeked Out MysteriesTank & Fizz (nominated for a Silver Birch Award), Battle of the Blocks. and West Meadows Detectives. Mr. O’Donnell has taught in Kindergarten to Grade 8 in classrooms with the Toronto District School Board, focusing on getting children reading through alternative literacies, like graphic novels and video games. You can keep up with Liam through twitter, or on his blog, Feeding Change, and at GamingEdus.org, a project he helped start, with the support of the RE/Lab at Ryerson University, to introduce teachers to Game Based Learning, through Minecraft. Liam currently divides his time between Toronto and London, Ontario, Canada.
